For over 60 years the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Company has been hosting races at Angell Park Speedway. Many now famous drivers have taken the turns at the 1/3 mile clay oval such as 2 time NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart along with Casey Kahne and Jeff Gordon to name a few. Each week drivers from all over the world come to the track to claim the feature win. Angell Park boasts “The best family entertainment value in the area” as children under 12 have always been FREE. It is a great family atmosphere at a very reasonable price. Racing always starts the first weekend after Mother’s Day and concludes Labor Day each year. Angell Park houses the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame. Located just inside the pavilion, it showcases the drivers and people that have made Midget racing what it is today.
