Three Charter employees have been recognized by the Wisconsin Cable Communications Association (WCCA) as among the best in the state.
Among the three is Tim Vowell of Sun Prairie, congratulations.
Tim Vowell of Sun Prairie received the WCCA’s Award of Excellence in Public Affairs. Tim has been in the cable industry for 23 years and serves as President of the WCCA’s Board of Directors in addition to his role as Director of Government and Public Relations for Charter. “In the area of public affairs, nobody deserves this award more than Tim Vowell,” said Tom Moore, Executive Director of the WCCA. “Year in and year out, I’ve been able to call on Tim when needed to support our industry.”
2010 Dane County Small Business Award Winners - includes Sun Prairie Business!
Menzel Enterprises, Inc. (dba/Prairie Land Towing) — Sun Prairie
Jeanne Menzel, President
The business provides towing, lockouts, jump starts, tire changes, car hauling, etc., with locations in Sun Prairie and New Berlin. This is a family business. Tragically, the husband died in 1993 and the wife and young sons worked 24/7 to keep the business afloat. After an acquisition of another business in 2002, and another in 2007, the adjustments of having so many more employees was a challenge, and meeting expanded customer needs meant even more commitment — and success.
