Participation in program commitees gives you the opportunity to have a direct impact on Chamber programs. Meet other Chamber members/network while serving on committees.

Committees include the following:

AMBASSADORS: Carry out challenge cup activities including: Visit new, expanded & relocated businesses, participate in membership retention and member drive activities, contact members to solicit additional employee involvement, meet and greet at Chamber events.

BUSINESS PROMOTION: Sponsor Sun Prairie Sale Days & Flea Market. Sponsor and promote Discount Keytag program. Sponsor and promote the Halloween Spooktacular program. Sponsor the Sun Prairie Gift Certificate Program.

COMMUNITY PROMOTION: Produce the annual Sun Prairie Community Guide. Produce a community map bi-annually.

EDUCATION: Coordinate four breakfast seminars per year on professional development and business management topics.

GOLF CLASSIC: Coordinate annual golf outing for the membership.

LEADERSHIP: Coordinate and sponsor Leadership Sun Prairie adult education program.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: Report on local government activities as needed-incorporate into member luncheons/events as needed; work with local government on issues of concern to businesses. Host Legislative updates for membership. Monitor state and federal issues. Produce a newspage twice a year. Produce a "how to run for public office" brochure and host a seminar on the same topic.

PROGRAM PLANNING: Select speakers for monthly luncheons. Arrange membership mixers. Sponsor the Business Appreciation Luncheon. Make arrangements for the Annual Meeting. Coordinate Community Expo.

SWEET CORN FESTIVAL DETAIL: Coordinate volunteers & other details for cooking, serving & delivery of the corn during the festival. Oversee cooking operation.

SWEET CORN FESTIVAL PROGRAM: Arrange entertainment and schedule advertising; Renew & recognize sponsors for event. Work with city staff and local organizations regarding fest details.

SWEET CORN FESTIVAL PARADE: Organize the Sweet Corn Festival Parade. Renew & recognize sponsors for event.

TASTE OF THE ARTS FAIR: Organize the annual event held in June.

Volunteers always welcome! Committees include meetings and independent work.
