Spring is Officially Early
Jimmy the Groundhog is correct once again with the prediction of an early spring. “There is a formula to determine if Jimmy’s prediction is accurate,” said Ann Manning, project coordinator for the Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce. “If Jimmy predicts an early spring, we need to have seven continuous days of above freezing temperatures before the first day of spring [March 20] to declare him correct.”
According to various weather sites, March 9th marked the seventh day of "spring" weather and it looks as if spring is here to stay.
