    Event Description:
    The Sun Prairie Area Community Band (SPACB) is presenting a Fall Concert on Sunday, October 22nd at 4:00 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie. The band is proud to announce they are under new direction of Doug Terhune and Kristie Ely. This will be the first concert of the 2017-18 season with their new directors. Selections include “American Civil War Fantasy”, “Twentiana (a montage of songs from the 1920’s)” and “The Wizard of Oz”. The SPACB is a traditional concert band made up of volunteer musicians of varying abilities who are enthusiastic and dedicated to their art. The band's concerts are free and open to the public. The SPACB is led by director, Doug Terhune and Associate Director, Kristie Ely. The band is open to all skill levels and there are no auditions to join. The SPACB rehearses on Sunday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Prairie Phoenix Academy in Sun Prairie.
