We are looking to add to team at our Sun Prairie facility!

Madison-Kipp Corporation is one of the country’s premier producers of precision machined aluminum die cast components and sub-assemblies for the transportation and industrial end markets.Our components consist of aluminum die casting on high-volume and close tolerance machining to include some sub-assembly. Aluminum machines range from 600 to 1200 ton closing capability with most in fully automatic cells. Madison-Kipp differentiates itself from the competition using advanced technologies in high pressure die casting with our proven precision machining expertise. Madison-Kipp consists of 400 employees, three facilities, two in Madison and one in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Perform secondary/value added operations on aluminum castings.  Trim, inspect, deburr, pack and/or machine casting in a synchronous manufacturing environment.  Cross training in all operations while meeting production, safety, quality and housekeeping standards.



  1. Operate trim press, sand, drill, file and/or knife castings as required.

  2. Operate CNC’s, multiple station machine centers, drill press etc.

  3. Minor troubleshooting and change or adjust machine tooling.

  4. Perform quality checks and document (where applicable).  Which include using simple gages, precision measuring devices and visual inspection.

  5. Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order (guarding and all safety equipment) Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out.

  6. Manually handle parts from work-in-process containers to shipping containers.  Move containers as required using pallet jacks, walkie etc.

  7. Pack parts properly per operator instructions.

  8. Apply proper labeling to cartons meeting customer requirement for identification and location. Know where to locate or make shipping labels and fill out “ok to ship tags” and “98” ship tags (where applicable).

  9. Prepare and maintain accurate records (route sheets and count sheets).  Know how to print route sheets, how to do flow receipts and how to use the pull boards (where applicable). 

  10. Assist in machine set ups, may perform minor/small set ups independently.

  11. Read and follow operator and set up.  Advise supervisor when up dates or corrections need to be done to operator and set up instruction books.

  12. Clean equipment and keep work area neat and orderly.

  13. Relief operator for die cast machines (where applicable).

  14. Perform and document total preventive maintenance (TPM) operations as required - lubricate, change filters, clean, check fluid levels, etc.

  15. Participate as a Trainer when necessary.

  16. Other duties as designated.


High school diploma, or equivalent preferred.
Basic reading and math skills required.
Ability to read, write and communicate in comprehensive English.
Mechanical ability preferred.
