  • Supporting Education

  • Continually improving our public education system is an overall goal of business. An adequately trained workforce is a great asset to attracting new businesses and encouraging local business expansions. The chamber has specific education programs that enhance the efforts of local groups and offer chamber members an opportunity to be involved.

Leadership Sun Prairie: An adult education class created to seek emerging leaders and prepare them for positions of public leadership. Get an inside view of Sun Prairie by participating in this program. Through a series of monthly sessions, the class emphasizes leadership concepts and community needs. Participants meet/network with current city, school and business leaders and learn from each other.

School/Community Outreach: The chamber works with the Business & Education Partnership to prepare students for employment in your businesses. The Chamber helps promote Business & Education Partnership activities and participates in the Adopt-a-Class program. Businesses can participate in the Business Education Partnership programs including: "Welcome Students", Recognition Luncheons, Reading Programs, Career Night and Writing Projects. For more information on the Business & Education Partnership visit www.spbep.org.

College Scholarships - the Chamber of Commerce provides (2) $500 scholarships annually. (click here for more information)
